A complex study of soft pink Princess Eiko roses, likely on a climbing bush, with intense scrubbed and distressed background, very much reminiscent of an unsalvageable Pompeiian wall. Mixed media on panel board, 24” wide, 36” tall, just right for that quiet reading space.
